This place really is something special. Attention to detail is their X factor. The excellent breakfast choices were very much all you could want but if you fancy something else let them know for the following morning. Carrubia is very well laid out over 2 acres and with only 8 or 9 modern room/suites it is delightful here and the adult only policy suited us. With such peaceful surroundings and friendly & professional hospitality we had a super 4 days/nights here. Everything is thought through, with the covered car parking area situated at the far end of the grounds, and it's to their credit that they are still looking at where they think they can make adjustments. We visited in late September, an excellent time weather-wise, or maybe we were just lucky because it was hot but not troppo hot. Carrubia is just a few kilometers from the incredible coast line and coastal towns which were nicely busy without being overwhelmed with visitors. Every member of staff deserves a mention and a thank you from us; but no review would be complete without a mention of the absolutely super spa room and swimming pool….wow! and….wow!

Siamo stati alcuni giorni in vacanza nel Salento ed abbiamo scelto di soggiornare al Carrubia.La struttura, ottimamente collocata per raggiungere facilmente in auto tutte le splendide spiagge del Salento ionico, offre tutti i confort per passare una ottima vacanza in relax. Colazione ricca e golosa in grado di soddisfare tutti i palati con prodotti di qualità. Le stanze sono ampie e ben pulite. Una citazione speciale merita la piscina, con effetto sensoriale tipo sabbia caraibica all'ingresso, circondata da splendidi ulivi. In complesso tutta la struttura e' molto gradevole, tranquilla, con personale gentile molto ospitale, rendendo il soggiorno da favola. Torneremo

frequento da anni il Salento che mi affascina tantissimo. ho soggiornato in varie strutture ma quest'anno ho avuto la fortuna di prenotare in questo resort, oasi di pace e di attenzione. ben posizionato, vicino a Nardò e vicino alle più belle spiagge della zona. tutto nuovo, una cura al dettaglio davvero attenta (grazie anche alla proprietaria signora Maria Vittoria che si è dimostrata sempre attenta con i suoi ospiti). ho soggiornato in una stanza deluxe, davvero ben arredata, con ampi spazi anche esterni. il bagno fantastico, con (faccio sempre caso a questo dettaglio!) l'utilizzo di una tipologia di carta igienica di spessore importante, non sopporto infatti la tipologia di velina inesistente! asciugamani ricamati, morbidi e confortevoli, con il telo per la piscina da poter utilizzare insieme alla borsa in dotazione. la colazione varia ed abbondante, con cose tipiche del luogo, sia salate sia dolci. anche il figlio della signora, Lorenzo, sempre attento e gentile con tutti gli ospiti, come tutto il resto dei collaboratori. e poi la piscina…che dire…nel silenzio del giardino interno offre un relax totale, con la morbidezza del fondale, che ancora sento sotto i piedi e che mi accompagnerà nel lungo inverno, in attesa di farei ritorno il prossimo anno. complimenti davvero!

La struttura è meravigliosa, il restauro ha rispettato il significato vero del luogo. È pura bellezza. Le camere arredate con gusto e raffinatezza; armonia, sobrietà ed eleganza sono in ogni dettaglio. Pace e silenzio regnano sovrani, nonostante sia a 2 passi dalla movida e dal mare azzurro di Santa Caterina. Il servizio è eccezionale, lo staff è ineccepibile: una vera attenzione maniacale al cliente! La colazione varia, frutta e dolci freschissimi per essere coccolati. Il tramonto sulla splendida e soffice piscina, toglie il fiato! Relax e sensazione di pace, è questo il ricordo che porto nel cuore

We had a magnificent and unforgettable stay at this facility where modernity and nature come together and create a well-kept and luxurious environment. The location is excellent, close to the sea but yet in the quiet countryside, where the song of cicadas reigns. The room where we stayed was extremely spacious with vaulted ceilings, furnished in a modern, simple, chic and functional way, with a view into the green manicured garden. The staff is kind and caring, attentive and extremely helpful. The Italian breakfast, with organic and mouth-watering products, perfectly met our dietary needs (I am a vegetarian ) and there is also a gluten-free corner. The tart with black cherry jam was a absolute 'sensory' experience. The wonderful and innovative pool, with a surprising sand effect underfoot, has a pure and sophisticated design. It is sourrounded by extra-large loungers, which are very comfortable. The SPA is also extremely beautiful and with its lights and colors is a true experience. The classy details and refinement in the decorations ( hand-decorated lamps and abat-jours, refined sheets and towels, the architecture of the structure and the garden) as well as the magic of the place won me over making our experience pleasant and unique.
